Senior Competency Road Test Package

The RMV will require individualized assessment of persons' qualifications to safely operate a motor vehicle, whenever they believe that a person has fallen below the required standards and that person is unable to operate a motor vehicle due to the above conditions.

This package includes five driving hours and one road test sponsorship in at any of the following RMV Branches: Braintree, Brockton, Taunton

Prices may increase, depending on location of the RMV Branch and length of travel time to where your Competency Exam has been scheduled.

Road Test Policies include, but are not limited to the following:

No Refunds of Tuition Monies or any part thereof. No Refunds and No Free Retest will be issued if:
 You Failed Your Road Test
 You Arrived Late For Your Road Test
 You Are Refused A Road Test By The RMV Examiner For Any Reason Whatsoever
 You Are Nervous and You Are Unprepared For Your Road Test
 Your Permit Was Rejected
 You Don't Know Your Hand Signals and Your Hill Operations
 If You Cancel an Alternative Hour Road Test or You are Late or Do Not Show for the Road Test

Rules for Alternative Hours Road Tests
Once the road test request is received, reviewed, confirmed and scheduled by the RMV, NO changes can be made to that roster either on the portal or by the RMV. The RMV will sometimes change Road Test Dates, at their discretion; the DrivInstruct Driving Academy does not have any control over the RMV's decision to make these changes. If you have any issues regarding cancellation or change of dates for Alternative Hour Road Test, you may address it with the RMV directly, by contacting them at 857-368-8000.

The RMV provides us with a tentative test date and whenever the RMV switches dates, we at the DrivInstruct Academy will immediately inform clients of the RMV's decision to change dates and we will notify you of the new road test date.
